Frequently Asked Questions

F.A.Q.

Below you’ll find a FAQ section specifically for Courier Serbia, addressing the most common questions about our services. Feel free to adapt or expand these answers.

Work Contract, Obligations, and Other Legalities

Do I sign a work contract with Courier Serbia or with Wolt?

Typically, you sign a partnership or collaborative contract with Courier Serbia, which then facilitates your registration on the Wolt platform. The exact structure depends on your legal and employment status.

Do I need a separate work permit if I’m from outside the EU?

Yes, non-EU citizens must have a valid work permit and residence permit to legally work in Serbia. Our Premium and Premium+ packages cover this process comprehensively.

What happens if I don’t fulfill the minimum work period?

If you leave early without valid cause or breach your contract, you risk losing part or all of your deposit. Further details are in your signed agreement.

Can I bring my own vehicle?

Absolutely. If you have your own car, motorcycle, or bike, you can use it. Our packages still offer training, administrative help, and other benefits.

Who handles insurance and maintenance for rented vehicles?

We handle basic insurance and standard maintenance. However, any damage due to negligence or traffic violations could incur additional charges, as outlined in the rental agreement.

Logistics, Arrival, and Daily Life

Do you pick me up from the airport or bus station?

Yes. The Standard and above packages include airport/bus pickup. Basic Package holders can request it at an additional fee.

How quickly can I start working after arrival?

With the Basic Package, it might take a few days to finalize your Wolt Partner Account and get you oriented. Premium-level packages expedite the process further by handling legal steps in parallel.

Will I always deliver in the same city?

Not necessarily. You can deliver in various Serbian cities where Wolt operates. However, your initial training will usually be in the city where you’re first accommodated (often Belgrade).

Is there ongoing support or consultancy after I start delivering?

All packages include at least short-term consulting (e.g., 15 days with the Basic). Premium and Premium+ offer ongoing support throughout your stay, including legal advice and administrative help.

What’s included in the “basic legal and administrative support”?

This typically covers guidance on mandatory documents, some form-filling assistance, and basic instructions on how to comply with local laws.

Can you help me rent an apartment long-term?

Yes. The Standard and higher packages provide support in finding and renting a suitable place. We’ll guide you on leases, documents, and negotiations.

Where do I go for medical check-ups or emergencies?

Serbia has both public and private healthcare facilities. We can guide you to a suitable clinic. Ensure you have valid health insurance as recommended or required.

How do I handle phone and data plans?

We’ll show you local providers. SIM cards are straightforward to obtain, and you can choose data/calling packages that suit your courier needs.

What if I need to open a bank account for receiving earnings?

We can assist you in selecting a local bank and opening an account, ensuring your Wolt earnings can be deposited smoothly.

Do you provide language support (translation) for official documents?

Premium and Premium+ may include or subsidize some translation services. Otherwise, you can opt for an additional fee.

Performance, Contract Completion, and Departure

What if I decide to return home earlier than planned but have completed my contract obligations?

If you fulfill the contract’s required duration and obligations, you can leave earlier. You’d still receive the appropriate refund portion.

Can I extend my contract if I enjoy working in Serbia?

Absolutely. We can discuss rolling over to a longer-term arrangement or adjusting the package. The deposit terms may change for any new contract.

What are my responsibilities during the contract period?

You must maintain professional conduct, follow Wolt and Courier Serbia guidelines, abide by local laws, and respect payment schedules for any ongoing rentals (if applicable).

If I get a better job offer within Serbia, can I switch?

You can, but it may affect your deposit refund unless your new employer or partnership is arranged through our system and we update your contract accordingly.

How do I finalize my departure when I’m done?

Notify us in writing (email or official form) at least two weeks before you plan to leave. We’ll handle any remaining paperwork, and the deposit refund process will begin once all conditions are confirmed.

Do I need to pay any exit fees?

Typically, no. As long as you’ve covered all your obligations and completed the required period, there aren’t additional exit fees.

Can I rejoin Courier Serbia in the future?

Yes. You’re welcome to return, and we can discuss updated package terms if you want renewed legal or administrative assistance.

Is the deposit higher if I stay longer than initially planned?

Not necessarily. The deposit corresponds to your chosen package. If you sign a new contract for an extended period, new terms might apply.

Do you assist with shipping personal belongings back home?

That’s not included in the standard packages, but we can recommend logistics or shipping partners if needed.
